Tagliatelle cogli tres formaggi.


What we had for dinner on Friday:

Fresh tagliatelle, with a sauce as follows:
Ricotta (or cottage cheese)
Gorgonzola
Garlic
Basil
Black Pepper.
Blend with a fork.
Finely minced green pepper. Saute gently in a little butter.
Add blended stuff, and warn gently. Top the whole lot with freshly grated parmesan.

PLUS, Green salad with a dressing of red wine vinegar, oregano, garlic and olive oil. And a surprisingly good bottle of Cabernet Franc from Somerfields.

Adam and Sophie had milk.

Then, on Saturday, we had a Bramble tart, with fruit freshly picked from the Isle of Cumbrae.
