Prunes in armagnac

I got stung by a bee yesterday. Twenty quid for a jar of honey!

No, but seriously. Prunes. I’ve always loved them. Here is something for the unconverted.
Take some prunes and either boil in a pan until soft or just bung in a bowl, cover with a little water (not too much!) cover and microwave for about 10 minutes.

Drain. Cover in alcohol. Armagnac for preference. Grappa works OK.. Grand Marnier sounds like a good idea. Leave a while.

Meanwhile, put a good bar of chocolate in the freezer to harden. At least 60% cocoa solids.

Serve the prunes in individual bowls. Top with a little creme fraiche and grate lots of chocolate other them.
